Fawn and I didn’t have to think twice to commission Lavender after seeing their art style! We chose to commission Lavender for two separate flat-colored full-bodies. Their prices are very reasonable, perhaps even lower than what I would expect, for the quality of the art. I sent an e-mail to Lavender at first before I chose to move our conversation to Discord for ease.

I should mention this is the first time I chose to communicate with an artist on Discord since I can understand the intimidation of chatting with someone over IMs. To my relief, it was easy to talk with Lavender about my commission. Their friendly disposition and professionalism was something that stuck out to me. It can be difficult to find a balance between the two in my experiences working with different artists so I was pleasantly surprised!

I commissioned Lavender on March 17th. I received the first WIP on March 21st with another WIP given to me on March 25th. The day after the second WIP I received the finished version of my commission, March 26th. I couldn’t believe how fast I received my commission without any sacrifice of quality! It helps Lavender was able to take the concept I had for my commission and bring it to life without any changes required during the process.
I know Fawn had a similar experience with Lavender, too! Fawn chose to communicate with Lavender through e-mails, but there wasn’t a difference in frequency of communication regarding their commission.

I really enjoy working with Lavender, and I plan to commission them again in the near future! I couldn’t be happier with my finished commission! Seriously, it’s one of my favorite pieces of my new character. It’s safe to say Fawn feels the same about their commission!
